Monkeying around…

”twas a day of technical glitches and distraction…
I simply could not settle to the work and so… I tossed it all aside and started doodling…

I’m a huge Fan of Lynda Barry… And her nearsighted monkey.

I’d had a wonderful “sit” earlier in the day. All calm and focused and wondrous and there I was… Three hours later all caught up in Monkey Mind jumping from task to task…unable to settle.

And so began the Monkey doodles.
Barry does this lovely meditative monkey and I love to draw her.

So here she is..with her first batch of wisdom for us all.
